Hi, my name is Juliet Briles and Im the owner of Ak Clean Co. here in Anchorage Alaska. My family relocated to Anchorage when I was a small child, from Kodiak Island, where I was born. Since then, I've relocated throughout the United States, even moving back to Alaska a few times before departing once more. But once again my heart drew me back home.
I relocated from Anchorage to Eau Claire, Wisconsin, in late August 2022 to attend cosmetology school. I had a terrific time in college and made some amazing lifelong pals. In December 2023, I graduated with honors from Chippewa valley technical college; Although I'm not sure if cosmetology is my true passion, I'm incredibly appreciative of the knowledge and experience I was able to acquire while in school.
Moving out of my mom's house at the age of eighteen and into my own apartment in Wisconsin gave me a passion for cleaning because I valued my space and wanted it to look tidy and appealing to the eye, but I also knew that I couldn't have that unless I put in the effort to make it look that way. Along the way, I came to learn how much I genuinely enjoy organizing and cleaning my house; putting on my headphones, playing a good podcast or music, and getting to work is so therapeutic for me.
My idea is to use my passion and start helping others, whether it's because they lack the time or energy to do it themselves or because they are physically unable to do it themselves. In any case, I am here to help!
I began by lending a hand to a good friend of mine in Wisconsin who needed help cleaning commercial buildings and new construction builds. She gave me great tips on how to do it and I learned a lot from her. I've also helped my mom over the years turn over her Airbnb after visitors leave, which has given me great experence with cleaning live in spaces.
A quote I remind myself daily:
"Be happy with what you have,
while working for what you want."
-Hellen Keller
As time passes we start to crave something new, we forget about the things we already have, the things we have worked so hard to accomplish. While you strive for your goals, appreciate where you are right now.
